This website is a dedicated voluntary sector health and well-being site and will allow access to the local health and social care facilitators based in each County Voluntary Council and the National Facilitator in WCVA. They are the driving force of  Building Strong Bridges.

The Building Strong Bridges Report recognises the key role the NHS can play in encouraging, supporting and engaging with the sector and also conversely acknowledging the important contribution the sector can make in the health and social care agenda.

Similarly, the Welsh Assembly Government recognises that in the area of social care, local authorities have a part to play in helping the voluntary sector to contribute to the public services they are providing.
